Yes, it is! Our ceramics and paints are tested to strict UK/EU safety standards, including EN71 for child safety and BS 6748 for food use. Just be sure not to paint the rim or the inside of the mug, as noted in our instructions. The ceramics are pre-fired and home-oven baking won’t affect their safety when used as directed. No need to preheat! To avoid cracking, set your oven to 150°C (300°F), immediately place your painted ceramics inside, and let it bake for 30 minutes. Ensure the paint is completely dry beforehand—usually about 30 minutes air-drying. This method protects your ceramic’s design for long-lasting vibrancy after multiple uses and washes.

To keep your pieces looking its best and lasting longer, always hand-wash it—skip the dishwasher to prevent the paint from fading. After washing, make sure to dry it right away to avoid any water marks. Also, remember, your painted pieces aren't microwave-safe and needs a gentle touch due to its fragile nature. 💦

It was such a cute activity! I loved using the pens instead of the paint. It took a little longer to bake mine, but it was such a cute forever memory!

It’s a gorgeous kit. These were Father’s Day gifts for my husband. We bought both the coffee mug kit (which my son painted turned out great) and also this travel mug kit (which my daughter painted) it was looking so great with all dads favourite things painted on it but on taking it out of the oven it dropped and being a double walled mug it smashed. So sad. We had a great photo at least to show him on Father’s Day.
The kits are so lovely with everything you need I would just be careful on handling when hot from the oven. He loves his coffee cup from our son.
The quality of the cup and lid were great. However the paint came off my first time using it. I didn’t even get it wet for the paint to come off, it just rubbed off as I held it.
