Foam dough will fully dry in about 24 hours, depending on thickness and environmental conditions. As it dries, it forms a soft skin. To keep it fresh, store it sealed and only take out small pieces at a time. If it starts to dry while you’re working, just add a few drops of water and knead it gently to restore softness.
