Yes, it is! Our ceramics and paints are tested to strict UK/EU safety standards, including EN71 for child safety and BS 6748 for food use. Just be sure not to paint the rim or the inside of the mug, as noted in our instructions. The ceramics are pre-fired and home-oven baking won’t affect their safety when used as directed. 📟 No need to preheat! To avoid cracking, set your oven to 150°C (300°F), immediately place your painted pieces inside, and let it bake for 30 minutes. Ensure the paint is completely dry beforehand—usually about 30 minutes air-drying. This method protects your creation's design for long-lasting vibrancy.
To keep your mug looking its best and lasting longer, always hand-wash it—skip the dishwasher to prevent the paint from fading. After washing, make sure to dry it right away to avoid any water marks. Also, remember, this mug isn't microwave-safe and needs a gentle touch due to its fragile nature. 💦
