This is an absolutely fantastic set, that’s perfect for beginners to learn/practice working with clay.The box is beautifully presented, so makes this ideal for a gift (not one that you post though as it’s very heavy). Includes everything you need. The one thing I will say is that the instructions are online (follow the QR code), which for me did defeat the object of having a ‘technology free’ craft afternoon- would have much preferred a standard instruction book.Instructions aside, this is such a fun activity to do; it really does get you into pottery as a whole.Currently priced at just over £30 does at first seem a lot, but actually once you give it a go you do see that it’s worth the price.Overall a really lovely craft activity. Happy to recommend.

This is a fun way to get creative in pottery without the need to fire up a kiln - which is not very accessible to most people anyway! The clay is air dry and in this case is sculpted by you into a cool looking pair of pastries. All you need is enclosed in the box and the instructions are easy to follow as they are online and can be found by scanning the QR code on the box. For me this was a real plus as they are in short bite size segments that cover each stage and, being a visual learner, this was great. The clay is soft and malleable and takes 24 hours to harden so don't worry about it going off. I had a few tries before I got the shapes right but that's part of the fun. Just take your time as it pays off, especially with the painitng, but at the end it's satisfying knowing that you made this and they look good with the tea lights.A fun way to be creative for adults or kids.

This is an awesome clay set to start out, they give you plenty of clay and sculpting tools as well and a primer some colours and clear coat ! Such a fun little kit to treat yourself or gift or do with the kids. Honest review 10/10 !

This is a cute little kit that contains everything you need to make air dry pottery french pastries. It came with with sealed bags of clay that were ready to use as well as tea lights, scrapers, varnish and paints. My only gripe is that for this cost, you should be able to make other things. The paint colours supplied are limited & only the colours to make pastries. I wish there were a few more colours so I wasn't so limited with the colour pallet, and some physical instructions! A QR code isn't ideal, as I hate following instructions on my phone especially with a screen timeout and messy fingers....it also means you have to be tech savvy, so you couldn't gift this to your nanna with a flip phone. But that being said, it's a cute set.

However for £34 you should have a physical booklet included. It is quite expensive as you can buy air dry clay and acrylic paints alot cheaper and the whole point is having a guide to tell you how to do things, to get a start and foot in the door with pottery. I give 4 stars, if they include a physical booklet it would be 5 stars.8/10
