...to the summer of 2020. We found ourselves, like everyone else, spending a lot more time in the house. In the evenings we’d sit in front of the TV or scroll through our phones – usually at the same time. Pretty soon we realised this wasn't an ideal way to spend the day (both on our own or with our loved ones). So we set out to find ways to get in touch with our creative sides, and make all that time spent indoors useful. (And fun, obviously.)
2021
After experimenting and playing around with a bunch of crafty projects, we found that working with air dry clay was really fun, creative, therapeutic and rewarding. That's when we knew we'd found something special that we had to share with the world. From these humble beginnings, Pott’d was born.
Pott'd has now gone from a kitchen table hobby to real business. Our Super Clay can be stored for up to 9 months, but to keep it in tip-top shape, make sure it’s sealed in its bag and stored in a cool place. We’re not talking about a room with funky lights and a disco ball, but somewhere with lower temperatures. Once you've received your kit, you’ve got a good 3/4 of a year to use all that lovely clay.
Perfectly proportioned and designed for 1-2 people. Your kit includes enough clay for 6-8 average sized creations, 2-4 large ones, one extremely large one. You get the idea. Plus enough tools and paints to share between two.
